Team Mission
Lake Effect is a competitive Club Mixed Team in Buffalo, NY. Our Mission is to provide an inclusive, safe and joyful environment for athletes of any background to pursue competitive passion through Ultimate. We recognize that we don’t exist in a vacuum, and strive to foster a collaborative environment alongside all of the NCU community. Everything we do as a team is built on our three core values: Joy, Humility, and Effort.

Our Vision for 2024: Refinement
We want to enter the 2024 season with a new confidence from the building of the past couple years, and a focus on refinement of our conditioning, skills, and chemistry.
Our season will not be defined by our final placement – instead we will measure our success by the degree to which each of us feels we were able to contribute to the team and grow. Therefore, our process and commitment is far more important than the end result. That said, our goal is to be consistently in contention on Sundays and be competitive with teams at the top half of their respective regions.
